Christine and Shannan are the creators and contributors of let’s be moms.
The pair are married (according to the state of Massachusetts), are Philadelphia homeowners, pet-owners and hope to become parents soon. It all started when Chrissy said to Shannan, “let’s be moms.”
Although Chrissy and Shannan traditionally enjoy a peacefully quiet, private life, they’ve decided to share this experience with you, keeping you up-to-date on the process, hoping to enlighten, entertain and create awareness about the beauty of diverse American families.
let’s be moms will take you through the process of insemination and if successful, the pregnancy and birth of their first child.
**Update: Christine and Shannan were certainly successful with insemination and are now expecting twins in the spring of 2012!

Hi! I don’t know either of you but I wanted to let you know how great it has been to follow along your journey. I am also a lesbian and my wife and I are expecting twins in September (I’m the pregnant one). Anyway, good luck in the home stretch! I’ve been thinking of you two (four!) often.
